The triathlon events at the Paralympic Games see all competitors from the different sport classes compete over a course of 750m swim, 20km cycle (bike/tandem/handbike) and 5km run (or racing wheelchair).
The eleven medal events confirmed for Paris 2024 are the Men's PTWC, PTS2, PTS3, PTS4, PTS5 and PTVI, and the Women's PTWC, PTS2, PTS4, PTS5 and PTVI, three more medal events than at Toyko 2020, with a total of 120 athletes competing.

Para Triathlon made its Paralympic debut at Rio 2016, where six medal events were held: Women's PT2, PT4 and PT5 and the men's PT1 (wheelchair), PT2 and PT4, with Allysa Seely (USA), Grace Norman (USA), Katie Kelly (AUS), Jetze Plat (NED), Andrew Lewis (GBR) and Martin Schulz (GER) winning the golds. At Tokyo 2020, eight medal events were included on the programme, with Kendall Gretsch (USA) and Jetze Plat (NED) winning the PTWC races, Brad Snyder (USA) and Susana Rodriguez (ESP) with the PTVI golds, Martin Schulz (GER) and Lauren Steadman (GBR) the PTS5 golds, Allysa Seely (USA) the PTS2 gold, and ALexis Hanquinquant (FRA) the men's PTS4.
