Elite (incl U/23 Elite) Category (70 000 ZAR)
1st - 10 500 ZAR
2nd - 8 750 ZAR
3rd - 6 300 ZAR
4th - 5 250 ZAR
5th - 4 200 ZAR
If less than 10 athletes compete, only 1 – 4th eligible for prize money.
If less than 7 athletes compete, only 1 – 3rd eligible for prize money.

Junior Category (16 – 19) (10 000 ZAR)
1st - 2 500 ZAR
2nd - 1 500 ZAR
3rd - 1 000 ZAR
If less than 7 athletes compete, only 1st and 2nd eligible for prize money.

Senior Relay Category (per team) (15 000 ZAR)
1st - 3 750 ZAR
2nd -2 250 ZAR
3rd -1 500 ZAR
If less than 7 teams compete, only 1st and 2nd team eligible for prize money.

Junior Relay Category (per team) (6 000 ZAR)
1st - 1 500 ZAR
2nd - 900 ZAR
3rd - 600 ZAR
If less than 7 teams compete, only 1st and 2nd team eligible for prize money.

All TSA athletes are to enter by completing the online entry form.

To encourage participation and afford athletes the opportunity to participate in an international event, TSA has decided:
1. The entry fee for ALL TSA athletes has been waived;
2. Continental Elite, Temp. Senior Elite and Junior Elite athletes participating in the Elite - and Junior (16 - 19) category respectively, will receive 1 000.00 ZAR contribution to travelling and accommodation costs;
3. Senior Elite athletes participating will receive 1 500.00 ZAR contribution to travelling and accommodation costs;

Kindly note that participation at the event will be a qualifying criteria for athletes to be considered and included in the TSA High Performance Programmes (all categories).
CONTINENTAL AND INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES
Continental and international athletes are to enter through their respective federation on the ITU Entry System.
RACE KIT
All kit must comply with ITU regulations or be completely unbranded.

For the relay team event, members of a relay team need not wear the same colour suit.
ENTRY DATES AND FEES
Entries open 18 May 2009 and close 25 June 2009.

Non-continental athletes to pay at registration:
1. Senior 300 ZAR
2. Junior 200 ZAR
3. Relay 200 ZAR (per team)
RELAY RACE RULES
The senior category is open for athletes aged 16+.
The junior category is open for athletes aged 14-19.
Continental athletes not assigned to national teams may combine in “Continental Teams”.
