Harare International (R G Mugabe International) Airport - it is a 3 - 4 hour journey by road to venue - no unsupervised road travel advised after dark.  Bikes are transported in secure, closed trucks and travel in convoy with the transfer coach to venue.

To coincide with Free Transfers, it is recommended that all flights are organised to arrive by lunch time on Thursday 20th February and departure after 1000 on Sunday 23rd February

Early arrivals on Wednesday - Athlete Liaison Cath Jennings will meet you on arrival and overnight accommodation in a B&B (for Athlete’s account) can be arranged - you will be collected on Thursday to join the other arrivals at the airport and transferred to Troutbeck Inn Resort

Visa Requirements - Please contact LOC Administration or Athlete Liaison for Letter of Invitation for Visa Applications - please also check with your Local Embassy - Visas can be obtained on arrival but some countries are required to obtain visa’s prior to arrival.  Visa Cost approximately USD 45 - 50

Athletes will be transported to venue on Thursday 20th February and return to Harare on Sunday 23rd February.  Return transfer will depart from Troutbeck very early to ensure arrival at RG Mugabe International Airport with sufficient time to complete check-in and clearance procedures.  Athlete Liaison Cath Jennings will advise departure time.

Coaches and Guests of travelling athletes will be required to pay full rates at the hotel. 

All foreign visitors are required by law to settle all accommodation and hotel accounts in foreign currency

VISA/MASTERCARD and Cash are accepted.

The USD is most widely used (small denomination notes are advised) - GBP, Rand and Euro are also accepted and would be converted using the Rate of Exchange on the day
